Thruster Cluster

3 sets of the following:

1 heavy thruster every 30 seconds for 3 minutes

Rest 3 minutes between rounds

The goal is to use the heaviest load possible and generate lots of power on each rep, but the form on Rep 1 must look just as good as the form on Rep 6. Ideally, athletes should use about 85% of their 1RM–but form is the main concern.

Competition athletes should clean the bar and can squat clean it into the rep or use power clean and thruster.
