Oly Day

Clean and jerk or snatch, 3 reps

We’re working to a set of 3 Olympic lifts with outstanding form and medium weight.

This is a no-ego workout: Form, speed and power are more important than load. The number doesn’t matter if the form is poor.

FrostFit competitors: Feel free to use this workout to practice FrostFit Event 2 (the OHS and thruster workouts). DO NOT MAX OUT. Just practice technique and figure out how you want to approach the workouts. Your coaches will help you with strategy.

There is also time built in for FrostFit competitors to practice other movements. DON’T OVERDO IT. Athletic people–which you are–can handle any challenge. You do not need to do the entire workouts. Practice skills but don’t go to the point of fatigue.

Remember: Georges St.-Pierre doesn’t schedule a complete fight two days before a UFC title match.
