Workout: Feb. 22, 2012


21-15-9 reps of:

Overhead or front squats

Handstand push-ups

If you have no mobility issues, you will do overhead squats. Your coach will assign front squats if needed. Bars may be taken out of the rack unless you are competing in the Open–competitors will have to snatch their bars before squatting.

The loads will be assigned by your coach.

Open competitors: Keep in mind that you might see overhead squats and handstand push-ups on Friday in the Open. Keep intensity to levels that will allow full recovery for Friday.

The Functional Fitness Open Event 1 will be announced here at 7 p.m. CST. Open competitors in the late classes may alter today’s posted WOD accordingly in consultation with their coach.

The Feb. 23 workout will be a skills challenge, and Open competitors will have the chance to practice the movements in Open Event 1.
