It always helps to have IT guys in the gym … .
Ryan W. has been kind enough to create us an online scoreboard in between sets of heavy deadlifts and squats.
Like the whiteboard in the gym, the Scoreboard is a place to log workouts and see the gym records for a set of standard workouts. You can always find the link to the Scoreboard on the right sidebar of the website under “Links.”
Ryan has set up accounts for several people he used during testing, and that list will be posted by the whiteboard at the gym. Check out your user name, then log in, change your password and create a profile. If Ryan didn’t set up an account for you yet, you can register on the scoreboard site by clicking “Register” in the upper right corner.
After that, you’ll be able to log you scores when we do specific benchmark workouts. We won’t record every workout on here because there are just too many, but we will track the benchmarks that come up more frequently: Fran, Grace, 1K row, 1-rep-max deadlift, etc.
You’ll also be able to see all your accomplishments in your athlete profile, which you can update with a picture and your vitals.
In upcoming weeks, we’ll alert you when a workout in a benchmark that will show up on the Scoreboard, and you can log in and post your scores.
If you have questions, talk to Mike and Ryan W. – just wait until Ryan gets out from under a 300-lb. bench press before you ask him an IT question!
