It’s a mistake to wait for everything to be “perfect” to begin your fitness & nutrition journey. Life is a laundry list of events, holidays and seasons that make it seemingly difficult to begin.
Those reasons aren’t going anywhere. So it needs to be your excuses that take a backseat.
Summer is a really great example. Many people are going to try and start after they finish the next 8 weeks of summer. Camping, holidays, the cabin, different schedules etc, it seems like a lot to take on. But fall will come and guess what? School starts, after school activities, Halloween, thanks giving, and before you know it – it’s Christmas. Never mind birthdays and work events that pop up.
There legitimately isn’t a good enough reason why you shouldn’t start now.
Your fitness and nutrition needs to fit in to whatever stage of life you’re in. It needs to reflect your goals and be compatible with your busy schedule.
Instead of waiting to start after summer, bring a set of dumbbells and a skipping rope with you to the cabin. Keep a routine with your nutrition so you’re not going into damage control come fall. Caring a little will help a lot.
