[/caption] Congrats to our coaches on great performances at regionals! Lindsey Ingram finished 15th overall and took fourth in the dumbbell-snatch/sprint workout. Crystal Kirby-Peloquin was 18th and had top-15 finishes in four of six events. We can’t take credit for Tyson Takasaki, who’s a product of Reed MacKenzie’s Functional Fitness Taranis in Victoria, but we’ve been honored to have Tyson at our facility and on our coaching staff. He was great as always and finished sixth overall, with a second- and a third-place finish in events contested by Western Canada’s top athletes. And congratulations to all the athletes who competed this weekend! It was great to see all of you and be a part of the community. You guys inspire us every time we see you–and we’re stealing all your good ideas for Functional Fitness 204! Our strong Canada West women are amazing to watch, and it’s great to have such friendly competitors leading the charge in our country. Congrats also to big Jeremy Meredith, Lucas Parker and Steve Howell on their top finishes. It’s time for a CanWest man to crack the top 10 in California! And finally, best wishes to the Functional Fitness Fraser Valley Centaurs, and the Functional Fitness Taranis crew, whose team spirit is a model for everyone else.
