Client Story – Sheryl’s Fitness Journey At Home!

I just returned from a very active trip to BC, including long hilly(!)  bike rides, hikes and runs up mountains with my 20 something kids, nieces and nephews.  

Fitness has always been important to me, my activities have changed over the years and now, as a post menopausal female in my 60th year, my goals are to preserve strength and muscle mass, maintain function and “keep up with the kids”.  Crystal’s personalized fitness programming has been key in helping me achieve my goals – especially during a pandemic!  

She programs the workouts for the week within an app, I simply hit the home gym, pump up my own geeky music, and do them.  I send Crystal video of the movements and she sends positive feedback and cues for next time that will help improve my form.  This has resulted in lifting progressively heavier weights, faster running speeds and muscle!!!  

The things I love about this program is that I can go at my own speed, there is accountability, I don’t have to worry about gym closures, the workouts are varied and fun, and the feedback is positive, timely and pertinent!  It’s also mobile – while away on vacation, Crystal programs for the equipment that is available – often one’s own body weight!  

Working with Crystal is great – she’s an awesome role model, knows when to push and when to not, coaches with humour and kindness and has the best laugh ever!!!


Skate Skiing in the Dark?

We head to Mount Evergreen and ski under the stars, then plink some targets at the Lake of the Woods Gun Club.
