Open gym, Open workouts.[/caption] We love the atmosphere when all our competitors get together, but if you can’t make the Open slots on Friday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 10:30 a.m., here is a new option for you: Print out a scoresheet from the Functional Fitness Games website and come to an open-gym slot on Thursday at 8 p.m. or Saturday at noon. If you are at the gym Thursday after the announcement, we will generate a scoresheet for you. Let the coach on duty know you need to do the Open workout, and he or she will help you by creating a warm-up and directing you to set up the required equipment. When you’re ready to go, the coach will then judge your workout. You may also use another member as a judge provided that member knows the standards well and is comfortable holding you to them. If you cannot make any of these slots, we will do our best to accommodate you at other times, but we encourage you to make use of the open-gym slots as coaches will be on duty and ready to assist.
